Job Description

We are excited to be recruiting for a Customer Services Advisor to work with our long standing client in their Customer Services office in Macclesfield.

Shift pattern, working 5 days out of 7 (including one Saturday or Sunday each week)

  • Shifts of earlies 8am-4pm and lates 12pm-8pm Mon-Fri + 10am-4pm Sat or Sun (1) – (max three lates per week)
  • 35 hours per week

In the role of Customer Service Advisor, your key duties will include:

  • Managing inbound calls, emails and live chat enquiries
  • Dealing with a wide variety of requests and complaints in a positive manner
  • Following up queries to ensure customers are fully satisfied
  • Advising customers about product information, stock etc
  • Giving advice re. the website, stock, orders and products
  • Dealing with admin duties such as orders and returns and updating the database

The ideal candidate for the Customer Service Advisor will:

  • Have an excellent phone manner and really enjoy speaking to people on a daily basis
  • Have the ability to work as part of a lively and busy team
  • Have a thick skin and not be fazed by difficult enquiries
  • Enjoy turning negatives into positives!
  • Be able to deal with people from various backgrounds in a cheery and effective manner
  • Have good IT and organisational skills
  • Represent the company with a cheerful and positive attitude
