Job Description

We have an opportunity to work with a reputable client in Wilmslow on an initial 6 month basis, with the potential for this to be extended.  

Key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Working on an inbound call line, dealing with enquiries from organisations offering guidance and advice on a helpline and maintain records. 

 

  • You will need to be fully competent on a computer as you will be required to record data in various IT packages we work with.
  • The calls will initially be inbound calls to the helpline but outbound calls to organisations will also be part of your tasks. You need to be able to manage and organise your workload but seek advice from the manager where necessary.

Person Specification:

  • You should have strong and effective communication skills, particularly providing clear advice over the telephone.  You need good intellectual ability in order to apply legislation to a variety of circumstances both over the phone and in writing.
  • You need to be fully competent on a computer as you will be required to record data in various IT packages we work with.
  • Experience working on a helpdesk/call centre is preferred.
