Temp Work
Once registered with us, if you’re looking for temporary work (or can accept temp to perm assignments to help you locate the right permanent role), we’ll text or call you when we hear about any work matching your requirements. We’ll never ask you to undertake a position that’s not suited to your skills and experience and you don’t have to accept any assignment offered – we want you to be happy in your work.
We can give advice on dress codes for different assignments and provide all the information you need to help you acclimatise quickly and effectively into each company, so you can feel confident and give your best from the start.
There are, however, a few basic requirements we expect from our temps on all assignments –
1...If you are ill, or are unable to go into work for any reason, you must call our Consultant by 9am on the first day of absence. This is so that we can let our client know so that, if required, they can arrange for cover to avoid backlogs in the workload.
2...Please do not leave your mobile phone switched on to the ‘ring’ setting during working hours and only take or make personal calls during breaks.
3...Every company has their own Health and Safety Policy and it’s important that you familiarise yourself with their rules and procedures at the start of your assignment. If there is any specific information you are required to be aware of before the start of the assignment your Consultant will let you know.
4...Remember that information which you come across while temping must be treated in the strictest confidence and not disclosed to anyone without express written permission from the client company.
